Shapes of an Echo (2025) is a photographic project exploring the reflections in Venice’s canals, capturing the ephemeral dialogue between the city and its water. The series begins with painterly images of Venetian facades, which gradually dissolve into warped distortions as gondolas and boats pass by. This motion shatters the reflections into surreal, abstract compositions, allowing a new world of color and shape to break free from reality and forge its own visual identity.
